Momotaro is what could be described as an unstoppable force. His intense curiosity feeds into his sassy and headstrong nature. Easily impressed and pliant. Like his mother before him, the man seeks companionship and knowledge though struggles socially thanks to his spoiled, bratty ways.
Prideful in all aspects of life, Momo refuses to "give in" to his congenital illness often pushing through intense fatigue and pain in pursuit of adventure. Unfortunately this lands him in all sorts of situations but he comes out on top with contagious optimism and a bright smile.+Physical description //
Fresh faced and princely, this young man walks with a lordly grace. Pale skin and spent azure eyes give tell of restless nights as neat sandy blond hair showcases a level of narcissism. He is effeminate in mannerisms and physically androgynous with a lithe, petite build standing at 5'2"(157.4cm).

01_It began with a loving mother…
The calamity wrought ruin for a great many and of this cruel fate a young alchemist, accompanied by her young son and vieran understudy, were not spared. Professor Okano, having journeyed to Eorzea to further her studies, found the new life she was building came to an abrupt halt as wildlife grew fierce, attacking those on her foray.With an ilm of their lives her son and understudy retreated unscathed but in the panic of it all they found the professor herself had not been so fortunate, having put herself between the beasts and her child.Returning home, the two would mourn the life they had as everything would forever change without their matriarch.

02_It continues wayward children…
The understudy, Ayeka, and the professor's son, Momo, spent the next 5 years adjusting to their new lives. Momotaro grew rebellious in this time, determined to grow strong so no one would risk themselves again. Practicing the magicks passed down from his mother, taking her former nouliths as his own.Now in his newfound adulthood, Momo ventures forth pursuing further study into the world of healing and numerous scholarly pursuits left behind by his mother.

Adventure buddy
After his mothers passing Momotaro swore to deepen his knowledge on healing magicks and medicine to prevent others from suffering her same fate.
Thus is he always up for an adventure; happily accompanying forays in search of grand discoveries with the added benefit of attaining practice on the field.

Sellswords and medics wanted
Untrained in combat, Momo tends to hire adventurers more battle-inclined to watch his back as he studies the land and gathers herbs.
Traveling on his lonesome also leaves Momo at risk thanks to his illness, often weakened at the slightest exertion. Any adventurers willing to lend a hand in his safety are appreciated.

It’s a whole new world out there
The world is completely new to Momo. Having been cooped up in his family's estate he lacks lived experience. Due to this, the man is at mercy to the greater world. He will need a guiding hand; whether through positive or negative influence. He has much of life to learn and experience.

The late Okano was an eccentric genius who left no stone unturned in her study of healing magicks, desperate to cure her own debilitating illness.
Spending equal parts of her life in both sharlayan and hingashi she has had plenty of her own adventures.Momotaro was her pride and Ayeka her joy. Her only regret was leaving them behind in a world crazier than herself.

Despite only being an apprentice to his mother, Ayeka is more akin to a sister to Momotaro, even calling the vieran woman as such at any given chance. Momo has known her since birth and is thus close and clingy toward her in an annoying little brother way.Excitable and studious, Ayeka dedicates much of her time into furthering knowledge in her various fields of study but to Momo she's the one he depends on when his illness leaves him vulnerable.

(Though his offerings are mostly junk, like impressive yet ultimately worthless rocks.)The man is overly enthusiastic in her presence and believes her to be the epitome of elegance and beauty; eager to learn and grow to be just as lovely and kind as she is one day.
He has a ways to go until he's as graceful as his role model, however...
